I'm looking for a bit of advice on buying a microphone or two, on a limited budget of £300-500.
I'm creating a radio type drama on a budget for college (I'm not actually on a radio or sound course). I'm wondering how much I will need to spend to get a professional sounding result.
I will be recording the actors in a studio, where I was planning to have them move around. So I was presuming I would need a stereo mic for that?
I will also be wanting to record ambient sounds, sound effects and environments too, using a portable recorder. Would I need a different microphone?
Any general advice would be much appreciated!
